Ashley Greene's Career Choices Are Putting Her in The Right Direction

Ashley Greene's recent casting in Butter is just one of many movies we'll get to see her take on a whole different film role than her Twilight Saga counterpart Alice Cullen.

Butter, which stars and is directed by Jennifer Garner, is a comedy where Ashley will play a "rebellious high school teenager named Kaitlen Pickler, who will be one of many competitive characters in a small Iowa town fighting over their annual butter-carving contest."

Along with this upcoming comedy, we'll also get to see Ashley in more projects including the horror flick, The Apparition, and Warrior, a movie which has her alongside her Eclipse co-star Kellan Lutz. And we can't forget about Skateland which made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival but has yet to find its way to domestic theaters.

Kellan Lutz' Movie 'War of the Gods' Renamed 'Immortals'

According to monstersandcritics.com, Kellan Lutz' upcoming Greek mythology movie War of the Gods has been renamed to Immortals with John Hurt and Isabel Lucas joining the cast.

Shooting will begin in Montreal next week with director Tarsem Singh.

Immortals is set to be released on November 11, 2011.

Kellan Lutz Is Poseidon In 'War Of The Gods'

Greek mythology movies never fail to show some toned up men. Let's hope this one is no different ;)

Kellan Lutz' newest role will be "Poseidon," the lord of the sea, in the upcoming Greek mythology epic War of the Gods. Kellan will play alongside actors Mickey Rourke (Iron Man 2) and Frieda Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire).

War of the Gods is a swords-and-sandals epic centered on mortal soldiers caught in a war between the eternal Greek gods and the evil Titans, with the fate of mankind hanging in the balance. Production is scheduled to begin in April based on a screenplay written by Jason Keller.
