Renato Campora for Frederic Fekkai styled the locks of Kristen Stewart. The inspiration was the 1920s era, while the look was a young modern undone concept. C'est chic, n'est-ce pas?
How to get the look: On wet hair, Campora applied Fekkai Coiff™ Extra Control Styling Gel throughout and then formed a side part. He dried the hair and used his fingers to create a wave. Next, piece by piece, he pinned the back of the hair with bobby pins creating waves in the backwhile keeping the sides and front smooth. I was hoping to see some colour on Kristen Stewart tonight at the Costume Institute Gala.
She instead wore a black taffeta asymmetrical Chanel Spring 2008 Couture dress with a chiffon shimmering skirt.
I love the hair, the make-up and the attitude, but I just don’t love the dress.
The pointy neckline doesn’t work for me, but she does look beautiful. I just wish she dress had matched.
Sergio Rossi heels and a Chanel clutch complete the look.
