BooBoo Stewart Joins Kellan Lutz in Upcoming Anime 'Guardians of Luna'

Today Cybergraphix Animation announced the addition of Boo Boo Stewart (Seth Clearwater, Twilight Saga) to the cast of the upcoming anime DVD feature Guardians of Luna. Boo Boo will play Jake Segerstrom alongside fellow Twilighter Kellan Lutz in the dark-action film, which will be completed in Fall 2011, and distributed by FUNimation Entertainment in North America.

Guardians of Luna centers around Carson Stone, who has come to Steelhenge looking for answers about his lineage. Driven by a mysterious letter from his father, what Carson uncovers is a city bearing an ancient curse. With each full moon, the city is terrorized by a pack of vicious werewolves. City leaders plan to eradicate the threat, and Carson must team up with three other werewolves in order to protect an ancient power source. In the process, they discover a dark secret about their ancestors that will force the “heroes” to make a crucial decision…on which could save humanity, or destroy it.

Kellan Lutz Wants To Be Your He-Man!

You all know how much Kellan wants to be an action star, and now we know his dream role!

Hey BFFs do you want to see Kellan Lutz’s chiseled six-pack up close and personal on the big screen? You might just get your wish if he gets his: Kellan wants to play the scantily-clad cartoon character He-Man, otherwise known as the Master of the Universe!

When HollywoodLife.com asked the Twilight Saga hunk which action hero he’d most like to play at Matt Leinart’s “Bowling With the Stars” event in LA July 15, he told us, “He-Man is good. I like He-Man!” The 25-year-old added, “I love the X-Men [too].”

But what bout the Hulk? The role is up for grabs now that Edward Norton has been ousted from the part against his will! Unfortunately, Kellan dismissed even the notion of auditioning for the role, saying emphatically, “Oh, I wouldn’t make a good Hulk.”

We disagree, Kellan! We think anything that shows off your manly muscles is a good thing!

What The 'Twilight' Stars Have Lined Up Before 'BD'

We have all the dirt on the 'Twilight Saga' cast's downtime — or lack thereof. With their major promotional duties over, and the record-breaking "Eclipse" in no need of any more star power, it stands to reason that the film's castmembers should be getting ready for some well-deserved rest and relaxation before heading back to work on "Breaking Dawn" in the fall.

That's not the case, however, as many of the popular young actors are very much in demand for film studios and audiences alike at the moment. Here's a look at what the "Eclipse"ters are up to in their "Twilight" downtime.

Taylor Lautner
Taylor Lautner is in Pittsburgh filming "Abduction," alongside Sigourney Weaver and Lily Collins, directed by John Singleton. "It's a very real action-thriller," Lautner told MTV News at the "Eclipse" premiere in L.A. "[It has a] great story, great cast and I start in, like, three days."

Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson has been shooting the book-to-screen adaptation "Water for Elephants," in which he plays a college dropout who becomes an animal caretaker for a traveling circus in the 1930s. Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz co-star. In addition to cutting his famous shaggy locks for the role, Pattinson told MTV News he's picked up some coordination during filming.

"I've become a little less mal-coordinated in the last couple years," he said. "[The film has] quite a few active bits. I'm pulling around horses and stuff, and I was like, 'When have I suddenly become capable?' "

Kristen Stewart
Kristen Stewart will be busy with "On the Road," co-starring "Tron: Legacy" star Garret Hedlund. Stewart recently told MTV News that she's excited to work with Hedlund. "I've met him a bunch of times and hung out with him twice. He's a great guy," she said. "He's written crazy stuff for it. He's so in character right now. He's driving to Montreal [for filming]. He's awesome. I'm really excited."

Anna Kendrick
Acclaimed "Up in the Air" star Anna Kendrick (a.k.a. Jessica) next appears in "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" and an untitled Seth Rogen comedy, but a role Kendrick is dying for is a part in the upcoming "Hobbit," which she revealed to MTV News at the "Eclipse" premiere.

"Believe me, I spend many nights wondering that," Kendrick said when asked if there might be a role in the upcoming Tolkien adaptation. "This is officially my feeler!"

Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz
Other busy bees include Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz. Greene will appear in "Apparition" opposite Sebastian Stan and Tom Felton, recently wrapped "Butter" with Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman, and also has the action/sport film "Warrior" on her slate, opposite her "Twilight" sibling. Lutz, in addition to "Warrior," is off kicking butt in Tarsem Singh's Greek gods-centric epic "Immortals," opposite Samuel L. Jackson, Freida Pinto, Isabel Lucas and Mickey Rourke.

Kellan Lutz Wraps 'Marriage' Film With Mandy Moore

Kellan Lutz recently wrapped filming on his upcoming comedy Love, Wedding and Marriage with co-star Mandy Moore and the movie had him pondering about what he looked for in his own marriage.

"It really does kind of open my eyes as to what’s important in marriage and what keeps people together," Lutz said of the flick, which features his first romantic leading-man turn, as a straight-laced newlywed.

"I love marriage. I really want to be married and have it last for the right reasons and know that she’s the one for me. And I want to do it out of love, not insecurities or dependence."

The movie is set to open this year.

Mandy Moore Talks About Her 'Love, Wedding And Marriage' Co-star Kellan Lutz

Nylon magazine recently chatted with Mandy Moore and she dished a bit about working with her newest co-star Kellan Lutz on the set of their film Love, Wedding and Marriage.

Here's an excerpt from the interview where she discusses Kellan:

Plus, you got to kiss Kellan Lutz. Kellan is such a sweetheart, and was so lovely to work with. Plus, I mean, well, I'd never complain about showing up to work every morning to work with a handsome man. I loved seeing Kellan every morning, but I'm not sure my husband loved it!

And every teenage girl in America... He's a lot of fun to have on a movie set, and so incredibly nice. I'm glad I got to work with him, but I also felt bad - he was filming our movie, and filming [Twilight] so he was running back and forth between every set, and the boy did not have a day off.

Were you ever worried that Kellan would start saying vampire lines on set? Ha! No, he was very focused the whole time. He was great.

Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev Joins Kellan Lutz in 'Deathgames'

"Vampire Diaries" Nina Dobrev is set to join the cast of Deathgames which also stars Kellan Lutz and Samuel L. Jackson. Nina will play Kellan's wife in the film.

The story centers on a young man (Lutz) who is kidnapped and forced into the savage world of a modern gladiator arena, where men fight to the death for entertainment of the online masses in games orchestrated by Jackson.

'Nightmare' Takes in $32.2 Million Opening Weekend

Apparently, poor word of mouth spread faster than even Freddy Krueger expected. A Nightmare on Elm Street, which seemed poised for a $40 million weekend in North America, ended up with a more modest (though still impressive) $32.2m ($9,665 per theater) according to studio estimates found at Box Office Mojo.

'Nightmare on Elm Street' Claims Midnight Record Sales

According to Deadline, Kellan Lutz' A Nightmare on Elm Street took in $1.6 million from Thursday midnight screenings at 1,000 theaters. This surpassed the previous record for a horror flick, the rebooted Friday the 13th February 2009 debut which took in $1 million.

Nightmare will open in 3,332 theaters with estimates for opening weekend at $40+ million!

Kellan Lutz is MTV's hump day hottie this week. And I'm not complainin' ;)

Vital Stats: This 25-year-old North Dakota native is apparently as smart as he is attractive. Sure, he's modeled , but he's even had a stint as a college student studying chemical engineering at Chapman University. But, like so many good looking dudes before him, he caught the acting bug and the rest is history.

As for his love life, we know he's dating "90210" star (who was once considered for a role in "Twilight"), AnnaLynne McCord. But, keep in mind interested ladies, these two have been known to run cold as often as they run hot.

Where you might have already seen them: Well, unless you live under a rock, you may not know that Kellan is one of the hotties from "Twilight," in which he plays Emmett Cullen. Plus, he's been on the "90210" reboot and "Prom Night." But, for us, he'll always be lovable Emmett.

Why you should take notice of them now: SPOILER ALERT: This week Kellan makes a blink-and-you-might-miss-it appearance in "A Nightmare On Elm Street," but this appearance is getting us excited for "Eclipse", which is out in June.

"That was one of the movies that actually scared me growing up," Kellan told MTV News about "Nightmare." "My brothers were the biggest threat growing up with all the poundings, but Jason and Chucky weren’t too scary. I laughed at them. Clowns are funny to me… But something that can attack you in your sleep, that’s scary because how do you fight that off? You're sleeping."

In addition to those flicks, he's also got "Deathgames," "Warrior," the rom-com "Love, Wedding, Marriage" with Mandy Moore and he'll be playing the god Poseidon in "Immortals." We're starting to think he has a thing for playing characters who can't die!
