Threesome For Kristen Stewart in 'OTR'?

From Celebuzz:

Watch out, Robert Pattinson; your (maybe) girlfriend Kristen Stewart seems determined to keep up with you in the steamy sex scene department.

Stewart is currently filming the movie adaptation of Jack Kerouac's classic Beat Generation novel On the Road (that is, when she isn't busy locking lips with her Twilight co-star/beau), and according to Life & Style, her character, Marylou (based on LuAnne Henderson, the real-life wife of Neal Cassady, referred to as Dean Moriarty in the book/film), is quite the wild child:

"Her character, 16-year-old Marylou, has a threesome with a couple of hotties, asks to watch two people have sex and brags about loving to perform oral sex."

This isn't the only big-screen offering that K-Stew will be sexing it up in: In Welcome to the Rileys, out on November 5, Stewart plays a 16-year-old lap dancer who's taken under the wing of James Gandolfini's Doug Riley character.

'OTR' Steaminess To Make It NC-17?

From shmoop.com:
Oh, let’s see: there was sex with Marylou, Camille, Inez, Terry, hanky-panky with the girl on the bus, that other girl on the bus, the one from the bus station, Beverly the waitress, the girls in Central City, the girls at the New Year’s Eve Party, and sex with the prostitutes in Mexico. There was unsuccessful lusting after everyone’s wife and their friends’ wives, the girls on the bus, the girls outside the bus, the girls in the station, Frankie’s daughter, Bull’s daughter, the farmer’s daughter on the side of the road, and the fifteen-year-old prostitute in Mexico. There was happy sex, make-up sex, angry sex, jealous sex, good sex, bad sex, vindictive sex, and sad sex. There was the good pillow talk afterwards, the bad pillow talk afterwards, and the complete lack of pillow talk afterwards. So yes, NC-17.

Kristen's 'On the Road' Co-star Has Nothing But Kind Words For Her

From MTV:

Even though they won't start shooting until August, Hedlund had nothing but nice things to say about Stewart. "She's got it all there. She's where she needs to be. She's fantastic," he gushed. He also said Sam Riley, who plays Jack Kerouac in the film, is "incredibly devoted and a hard worker and also a fantastic actor.

"We've had wonderful times up there in Montreal. Just hoping to make a wonderful film that can fulfill everyone's expectation of what this can actually be," Hedlund said. "The family that we're surrounded by is wonderful and unbelievable and, for me, I'm kind of on cloud nine."

Stewart also had nothing but kind words for Hedlund when we caught up with her at an "Eclipse" screening last month. "I've met him a bunch of times, and I've hung out with him twice," she said of her co-star. "He's a great guy. ... He's written crazy stuff for it. He's super into it. Not to sound ... I don't know how to put it. He's, like, so in character, and he's driving to Montreal. He's awesome. I'm really, really excited."

Kristen Stewart As A 'Promiscuous Blonde Hippie' in 'On the Road'

Twilight star Kristen Stewart is virtually unrecognizable as man-eating Marylou Moriarty in the big screen version of Jack Kerouac’s novel, On the Road.

You might just be crying in despair the next time you see Kristen Stewart – her newest character is NOTHING like your beloved Bella Swan!

The 20-year-old starlet will leave Twilight behind to play Marylou Moriarty, the slutty young wife of arty wanderer Dean Moriarty (Tron: Legacy’s Garrett Hedlund) in the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s iconic Beat Generation novel, On the Road. But what can you expect to see from Kristen, who’s shooting the flick for two months beginning August 2 in Toronto before heading to New Orleans and Mexico? Read on, BFFs!

• She sleeps around! Marylou bumps uglies with both Dean and his best friend, Sal (British actor Sam Reilly), has car sex with Dean while Sal sleeps AND gets it on with at least nine sailors!

• She says ‘I do’ – TWICE! Marylou marries Dean, divorces him and then gets hitched to a…car salesman. Trading up baby, trading up.

• She’s got blond ambition! Buh-bye brunette beauty – Kristen has returned to her strawberry blond roots (believe it or not) to play Marylou!

• She’s FINALLY get to dress like, well, Kristen Stewart! “Beatnik” is just an old-fashioned word for “hipster’, which is just K-Stew’s style! Think striped shirts, oversized sweaters, cowl-collared tops, slim-fit pants or pencil skirts, skinny Capri pants and eastern religious-symbol jewelry. However, female “beatniks” are a bit more feminine than the tomboyish starlet – so she might not TOTALLY love her new look.

• K-Stew will struggle to be smoking hot! Literally. Beatniks roll their own cigarettes, and we all know how much Robert Pattinson’s lady love likes a good ciggie!

• She wants to hold your hand! We know how Kristen loves her indie bands, but if she really wants to get into her character, she’s going to need to embrace Beat bands like Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and, of course, The Beatles.

But not to worry, HollywoodLifers. You’ll still see SOME of K-Stew in Marylou. The Beat Generation were known for their spontaneous creativity and non-conformity. Sounds like our girl!

More Filming News For 'On the Road'

45 days of shooting
Some scenes of On The Road will be filmed in the USA and Mexico, but it is in Quebec that the majority of the film will be shot.

“It will be from August 2nd to November, in two stages, said Lyse Lafontaine. They talk about 45 days shooting in Quebec. ”

“The film’s producers came twice in the Belle Province to locate places that might stick to the script.”They came three weeks ago and last week,” says Hans Fraikin.

According to him, some scenes will be shot in studio, at Mel’s Cité du Cinema, but also in Montreal and probably in the region, as in the Laurentians.

“They need more roads,” says the Commissioner, stating in particular have helped the team, including director Walter Salles, get their visas. This will happen elsewhere in the province by the end of the week.

The producers also considered the possibility of turning some scenes in Quebec City.
“He has been tracking for some street corners, but I doubt we will go there,” admits Lyse Lafontaine.

Kristen Stewart Talks 'Wanted 2' Rumors And Taylor Lautner on 'Stretch Armstrong'

Australian interviewer Alicia Malone got to discuss Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner's other upcoming projects including Stretch Armstrong and the Wanted 2 rumors involving Kristen.

Stewart was rumoured to be replacing Angelina Jolie in "Wanted 2" a few weeks back. One almost expected her to laugh off the rumours - but funnily enough, she didn't.

"Right now, I have two projects lined up", Stewart, coyly, responded. "I'm doing On the Road this Summer and then I'm doing Breaking Dawn. So other than that I have nothing 'nailed down'."
Doesn't sound like a denial to me!

Of his future projects, Lautner said "Stretch Armstrong", based on the toy line, is happening but "it's not happening for a while though, about a year from now. I'm doing a movie called Abduction which starts in about a month. Then Breaking Dawn. And hopefully Stretch after that".

Wow, "Stretch Armstrong" is a long ways off - let's hope it doesn't fall by the wayside (like the "Max Steel" movie that Lautner was going to do, did!).

On the Road - Walter Salles
Loaded with names you want on the red carpet, Salles a Cannes habitual will bring Francis Ford Coppola with him in a crazy world preem. Written by Jose Rivera, this is based on Jack Kerouac classic 1957 novel, which played a role in giving rise to the Beat movement, is narrated by Kerouac's thinly veiled alter ego Sal Paradise, who gets inspired to hit the road and see America. The story follows his ups and downs as he hitchhikes, hops trains, meets other travelers, struggles for meals and explores the themes of freedom and longing.

Hollywood News Talks 'On the Road' International Distribution

We brought you the story of international rights being sold for Kristen Stewart's On the Road at Cannes last week. Now, Hollywood news goes further into the details of the distribution.

Given limited distribution for some of Kstew’s other recent indie flicks (e.g., “The Runaways”, “Welcome to the Rileys”) it is encouraging news that makers of the upcoming film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s “On the Road” have already announced far-reaching distribution plans.

Heard recently at Cannes and confirmed via IMDB Pro, Icon Film Distribution of Great Britain and Icon Film Distribution of Australia were announced as regional distributors of the film. For the Great Britain branch, this translates to theatrical distribution in Ireland and all media distribution in the UK. For the Australian arm, this means theatrical distribution in New Zealand and all media distribution in Australia.

Other distribution rights for the film had already been sold to other regions—Cinearts holds rights for Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux), and Concorde Filmverleih for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein.

In addition to Kristen, who has been confirmed for the role of Marylou (widely known to be parallel real-life associate of Kerouac, Luanne Henderson), other confirmed cast members for “On the Road” include Kirsten Dunst (as Camille), Sam Riley (as Sal Paradise), and Garrret Hedlund (as protagonist Dean Moriarty).

The film is a portrayal of Kerouac’s own Beatnik experience, which rejected social norms of materialism while embracing taboos around sexuality and drugs. TIME Magazine critics Lev Grossman and Richard Lacayo named “On the Road” among the 100 Best American Novels written since 1923, calling it “the book that launched a thousand trips”.

Rob, Kristen And Taylor Mention Their Other Projects in USA Today Interview

Life beyond 'Twilight'

Next subject. The three are actively trying to ward off post-Twilight typecasting by doing solo projects in between. Stewart and Pattinson, both bookworms and drawn to art-house fare, earned OK reviews but underwhelming ticket sales for their two recent releases, the girl-band bio The Runaways and the romantic melodrama Remember Me.

But they continue to be in demand for more mature roles. Stewart is psyched to be a part of a big-screen version of Jack Kerouac's On the Road, which starts shooting in August. Pattinson recently wrapped his work on the London set of Bel Ami as a 19th-century social-climbing rogue opposite Kristin Scott Thomas, Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci. Does he bed all three?

"Yes, but they're not like typical love scenes at all," he says.

Adds Stewart: "They're all a little weird. A little edgy. And a little nude." Chuckling ensues.

Meanwhile, Lautner — a natural athlete who played a high school track star in the box-office-topping ensemble comedy Valentine's Day— seems to be angling to become the next big action hero with upcoming roles in the thriller Abduction and Stretch Armstrong, a 3-D adventure based on a toybox muscleman.

Did he ever own one of the dolls, whose limbs could be pulled and elongated like taffy? "I don't remember having one at my house, but I totally remember stretching that sucker."
